Superia was the film you bought at the airport because you forgot to pack any. It had too much contrast and colours that did not quite behave, and thirty years later that is exactly why people miss it. This recipe aims straight at that.
What makes it work
Colour Chrome FX Blue on Strong is the whole recipe in one setting. It deepens blues without raising saturation, which is what stops a bright scene from turning into a cartoon.
The R +2 / B −2 shift matters more than it looks. Classic Negative drops cyan into the shadows, and outdoors that turns faces cold. Warming the balance puts skin back where it should be while leaving the shadow character intact.
When not to use it
Under mixed indoor lighting the shadow cast fights the warm shift and skin can go slightly green. Indoors, use the Reala Ace or ASTIA recipes instead.
Sharpness −1 is deliberate. Consumer print film was never sharp, and on a 40MP sensor the default sharpening makes the look feel digital rather than photographic.

Common questions
Why +1/3 exposure compensation?
Classic Negative renders slightly dark, and DR200 pulls the midtones down a touch further. A third of a stop puts them back without risking highlights.
Can I use this at night?
It works, but the Night Market recipe is built for it and handles artificial light much better.
