This PRO Neg. Hi recipe adds a single step of colour and a small warm shift, and changes nothing else. It renders skin accurately in mixed light, which makes it the right choice for headshots, events and any photograph of someone you will hand the file to.

There is a category of photograph where a look is the wrong answer: a portrait for a website, a picture of a colleague, a family member who will notice if you made them orange. PRO Neg. Hi exists for exactly that, and this recipe barely touches it.
Restraint is the recipe
Colour +1 and R +1 are the only additions. That is enough to stop files looking clinical on screen without moving skin away from where it should be.
Highlight and Shadow at 0 keep the tone curve exactly as Fujifilm designed it. PRO Neg. Hi was built around faces by people with access to test subjects and calibrated monitors; second-guessing it rarely helps.
Why it survives mixed light
DR200 protects a bright window behind a subject, which is the situation that ruins most indoor portraits. It costs a stop of base ISO, which is why the minimum sensitivity rises when you enable it.
With no strong white balance shift, moving from daylight to tungsten does not require changing anything. That matters at an event where you have thirty seconds per person.

Should I add grain to a professional headshot?
Weak/Small is subtle enough to survive any use. If the file is going to a corporate site, turn grain off entirely.
PRO Neg. Hi or Std?
Hi for available light. Std only when you are lighting the scene yourself and want the flattest possible starting point.
