X-T5 vs X-T50
Same sensor, same stabiliser, very different bodies.
Short answer
The X-T5 and X-T50 use the same 40.2MP sensor, the same processor and the same seven-stop stabiliser, so they take an identical photograph. The X-T5 adds weather sealing, a second card slot, a much better viewfinder and nearly double the battery life. The X-T50 adds the film simulation dial and REALA ACE.

Which one to buy
Buy the X-T50 unless you can name the moment you would need sealing or a backup card slot. It costs four hundred dollars less for the same file, has the film simulation dial, and carries all twenty simulations rather than nineteen. Buy the X-T5 if you shoot professionally, shoot in weather, or shoot all day — 580 frames against 305 decides it on its own.
Common questions
Do they produce the same image quality?
Yes. Same 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and same X-Processor 5. The files are identical.
Why does the cheaper camera have more film simulations?
The X-T50 launched after REALA ACE existed; the X-T5 did not, and Fujifilm has not back-ported it.
