Which one to buy
A used X-T4 is the best value in the Fujifilm range and the X-T5 is the better stills camera. Choose by screen: if you film yourself or shoot video regularly, the X-T4 flip-out design wins and the money saved buys a lens. If you shoot stills at waist level and want cropping room, the X-T5.
Common questions
Is 26MP or 40MP better in low light?
The 26MP X-T4 sensor is marginally cleaner at very high ISO. In most conditions the difference is smaller than a stop of exposure.
Does the X-T4 have Nostalgic Neg?
No. It has 18 simulations. Nostalgic Neg. arrived after it, on the X-H2S.
